Curt & Liz Lemons
Owners
Curt & Liz married in 1980, built a family together and then started Permian Power Tong, Inc. in 1989.
Curt would do the jobs and Liz would do the paperwork. They started when oil was $19 a barrel. They have four daughters and raised them in and the business and it has grown into a true family business.
Curt loves to be outside where you will find him tending to flowers and trees or driving his CanAm around to visit with neighbors. Liz will be reading, watching Judge Judy or playing golf. The couple attend church and their faith is extremely important to them.
Dustin Bownds
Operations Manager
Dustin Bownds is the Operations Manager for Permian Power Tong, Inc. and has been working in the family business since 2006.
Dustin was originally a fire fighter with Odessa Fire Department but made the move to be full time with PPT and has managed the daily operations, crews and various duties.
Dustin is married to Katy (Curt & Liz’s 3rd daughter) and they have four children together. You can find him calling out crews, driving to rigs or supporting the various sports activities that all four kiddos play in.
Holly Cannon
Office Manager
Holly has been with Permian Power Tong, Inc. “her whole life”. She started out as a kid helping her mom, Liz, with payroll and invoicing and while in college, she worked for PPT in Farmington, NM. After graduating from UTPB in 2004, she became a vital part of PPT.
Holly is married to Scotty Cannon and they have 3 boys.
Her hobbies are reading, movies with her husband and playing golf.
